Well, hello! My name is Doug, the founder of tripleNERDscore. We are super excited to be the proud new owners of Karani. We truly believe that Karani is ready to become the best tool on the market to serve you in your fundraising journey.

I’ve been there. Back in 2009, my wife and I set out to plant a church. Our schooling and experience prepared us well for the ministry portion (though, is anyone ever really ready?), and we knew we were in for a bit of a rough journey. But, nothing prepared us for raising the money necessary. Out of our  classwork and ministry, we had had a combined grand total of two hours of fundraising training.

Two hours. Total.

We had a smaller budget of most church plants, but we still needed to do a lot of work. And we had no idea what we’re doing. We had no idea that fundraising was primarily relational. No idea the toll it would take on our nerves. No idea the joy we would feel when that unexpected check came out of nowhere.

This is a big reason we bought Karani. Karani takes all of the guess work out of fundraising. It’s here to help fundraisers with little to no experience raise the funds to run their non-profit, serve their campus, build their missions work, or work for their city.
